Power Washers of North America (PWNA) has long been the recognized leader in developing the highest standards of ethical business practices, environmental awareness and safety through continuing education and active representation of its membership. Through its association with PWNA, Scotts has achieved certification as an Environmental Contract Cleaner. In the recent past, Scotts received the honorable distinction of being PWNA’s “Most Valuable Member.”
H2O GreenClean Best Management Practices
Scotts is one of the first companies to receive Water Reclaimer Certification for its mobile power washing units, though its membership in the Power Washers of North America (PWNA). This certification guarantees that our power washing units meet or exceed industry standards concerning the safe use, collection and disposal of water, our most precious natural resource. We are now securing patents for our storm sewer drain covers and wastewater recovery system process.
Environmentally Safe Products and Highly Trained Personnel
Scotts developed our proprietary H2O GreenClean program, made up of products, people and industry processes. Scotts is certified through the Power Washers of North America (PWNA) and is an “Environmentally Aware” Certified Contractor.
- Cleaning Products Selection: All of our proprietary cleansing agents are formulated to be environmentally friendly. They are phosphate-free and 100% biodegradable. The only other thing we use is water!
- Wastewater Disposal: Our staff has been trained to properly dispose of wastewater used in the power washing process, eliminating pollution. When the water used in our cleaning processes can’t be properly disposed of on site, wastewater is vacuumed into storage tanks and transported to an appropriate disposal facility.
- Technician Training: Our staff is also certified in pollution prevention and control through the Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association (BASMAA). This online certification and our extensive in-house training covers everything from customer service to wastewater collection and power washing techniques.
